: : Cataract Operation : :

Granny is going to have a cataract operation on Monday afternoon. This was decided after the heart doctor gave to okay for her to do the operation at the eye doctor.

So hmm… Monday afternoon. Need to take the afternoon off to bring her to the doctor’s.

Hopefully, the operation goes on well.

: : Soundless : :

Yes, I’m soundless. Why? Because I lost my voice for the 2nd day running!

Comments from the office yesterday :

Sexy voice

Sultry

Ooohhhh…

Everyone is a kidder, including Granny.

Granny : Don’t talk. I don’t want to laugh. Don’t want stomachache.

Doh!

And, no fried of chilli stuff for the next few days. So, am craving for some good nasi lemak after checking out doc’s posting on it. Sigh.

: : Candy for the Sweet Teeth : :

The candy man with his candy. There was an exhibition on all things Australian in Raffles City. I stop by this booth because of the interesting candy shapes. So, bought a packet to be enjoyed. Yummy!

The details of the candy :

Sunshine Candy Kitchen (doesn’t the name sound so refreshing? )

Suffice to say that everyone in the office finished the packet!

: : The Cafe ~ Cartel : :

I forgot that there were some more pictures from Singapore. Here is a shot of the cafe where I had breakfast with Trevor and Joni. It’s called the Cafe Cartel located at Raffles City. It’s actually outside the building, to the right of the MRT station. It’s a semi-self-service cafe where diners fill in their orders on menu chits with colored pens and use the chit to pay for their meals at the cashier. So, it was brunch for 3 of us at 10:30 a.m.

Joni ordered the mushroom omelette. The picture speaks for itself.

My breakfast-lunch : Bacon with omelette. Was tickled pink by the fact that I can now get ham in many restaurants and shops. So, I enjoyed my breakfast very much.

Trevor loves waffles with syrup. Something about waffles and syrup. Simple but a traditional that goes a long way back from the days of pancakes.

Oh, I gave this keychain mimicking the proboscis monkey from Sarawak. The locals in Sarawak call him ‘the Dutchman’. Haha! It’s the big nose!!!

So, that’s it for today.
